Our trip started on 16 February and ended on 2 March. We viewed plum blossoms at Kitano Tenmanku Shrine and Matsuo Daisha Shrine in Kyoto;visited the famous sand dunes and Pear Museum in Tottori Prefecture; rode cable car up the Takayasu Hill and toured the Plum Garden at Osaka Castle; then went to visit Ise Jingu Shrines , Mikimoto Pearl Island, and Matsusaka City in Mie Prefecture; did some shopping around the Tenjinbashisuji Shopping street in Osaka City.
